Ingredients

3 vegetarian capsules contain:

Calcium (citrate/carbonate) 300 mg

Magnesium (citrate/oxide) 300 mg

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 150 mg

Vitamin D3 100 IU

Capsule shell: Vegetarian gelatin and water.

Effects

DC 28 A is a supplement containing equal doses of calcium and magnesium, with the addition of vitamin C and D to ensure their optimal absorption and metabolism.

As the forms of calcium and magnesium in this formula are well absorbed, their levels may be up to 25% of what is normally recommended.

The calcium and magnesium are in equal doses in order to maintain the ideal 1:1 ratio between them. Without magnesium, the body cannot efficiently use vitamin D or C.

Vitamins D and C have been added for their synergistic effects.

Vitamin D promotes the absorption of calcium and magnesium while helping calcium attach itself to the bones.

As a precursor to collagen, vitamin C is required for bone and tooth formation.
