DC 53's unique blend aims to support and helps repair epithelial tissues.

These tissues form the skin, the mucosa (digestive, urogenital and respiratory) and the interiors of the blood vessels (arteries and veins).

The bioflavonoids, which are members of the vitamin C family, help repair and strengthen the blood vessels.

N-acetyl glucosamine is a substance that is required for a cartilage formation. More specifically, it also promotes the repair of all epithelial cells (mucosa and skin), as well as veins and arteries.

Zinc and vitamin A are well documented for helping to reduce inflammation and repair epithelial cells. These two nutrients play essential roles in maintaining skin health and repairing the skin when needed.

Indications

Circulatory problems (e.g., frequent ecchymoses, hemorrhoids, phlebitis or varicose veins). May be taken in conjunction with DC 51.

Skin problems (e.g., acne, eczema, psoriasis, couperose or rosacae). May be taken in conjunction with DC 31.

Gastro-intestinal problems (e.g., colitis, irritable bowel syndrome or Crohn's disease). May be taken in conjunction with DC 16 and DC 35.

For problems related to the urogenital mucosa (e.g. cystitis or vaginitis), it may be used in conjunction with DC 13.
